Do you know what kind of caterpillar this is? What is the butterfly it will become?
It is a light salmon color, waxy face and all, with a beautiful thin blue stripe down the back, bordered by very thin black on either side.
It has little black dots along where the "legs" and body meet.
It was about 3-inches long overall.
We've Googled it, but have had no luck.
We've looked in our field guide... nothing even close.

That is a gross caterpillar. It will hopefully become a better looking butterfly. That is all I can offer you with my expertise. :P
